I've always read about Josephine, ever since I was a little girl, but ever since I started reading your books, I'm now an offical Josephine afficionada! Your books really make her come to life. Thanks for that.( Oh, and maybe this is TMI but, I've also started nicknaming hubby...Bonaparte;-)

I think of Napoleon as "Bonaparte" too — as did Josephine. "Leave off, Bonaparte," she would say when he was bothering her. Some people don't believe that she could be so casual with him, but she was.
