I have a feeling I might have posted this here before, but I'll take a risk and post it again — it's so beautiful: a world of books.

As stated on the site:
A film for 4th Estate Publishers' 25th Anniversary. Produced by Apt Studio and Asylum Films.I've sent my plot off to my L.A. editor, then plunged into website renovation in anticipation of a Blog Tour. More on that later!
The film was produced in stop-motion over 3 weeks in Autumn 2008. Each scene was shot on a home-made dolly by an insane bunch of animators....

What a beautiful video! I am obsessed with book videos these days, so glad to come across it here. I can't imagine how much work it took to put together all those paper sculptures. Inquiring minds wonder: Are they 3-D? Or digital?
Yes, Kris, it's beautiful. So evocative! They explain on their site how the video was made, I think.
I love book images. Here is one I lingered over today:

Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy DOOMED QUEENS every day, and I love your video. I'll post about it -- when I recover my energy from website tangles.
Cheers,
Sandra
